Above are the three levels of CPST program with their details. CSTE is a practitioner level certification of the CPST program provided by QAI.The certification is intended to establish standards for initial qualification and provide direction for the testing function through an aggressive educational program. Acquiring the designation of CSTE indicates a professional level of competence in the principles and practices of quality control in the IT profession.

CSTE’s  become members of a recognized professional group and receive recognition of their competence by business and professional associates, potentially more rapid career advancement and greater acceptance in the role as an advisor to management.

CSTE EXAM PROCESS:

QAI conducts CSTE exam every quarter in a year/MAR/Jun/Sep/Dec

Last date for registration freezes 60 days prior to the exam date.

Exam fees: $ 350

Requirements:

1. Satisfy all applicant requirements

2. Subscribe to the code of ethics

3. Submit a character Reference

4. Pass a comprehensive written Examination.

Applicant prerequisite:

. Bachelor's degree from an accredits college-level institution.

. An associate degree and two years of experience in the information services, or

. Six years of experience in the information services field

Exam Pattern: Total Hrs: 4(objective + Subjective)

Pass Criteria: Must have 75% individually in all papers.
